David is the creator and webmaster for the website. He handles all of the technical issues and continues to keep it up
to date following every game. He receives advice and feedback occasionally from his brother, Boston Celtics
guru Steven Davis. He gets loads of ideas about site design and ways to improve the site from his beautiful wife
Alma - AKA Mrs. CelticStats.com.
David grew up in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. He received a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Vermont
in 1998. Following that he worked for 2 1/2 years as a statistician. He became bored with that and then returned to school and earned a Masters in
Computer Science in 2004. While in school he worked jobs as a mental health worker and pizza delivery guy. Fun stuff!!
Presently, he is a Software Developer, residing in Vermont once again after 3 years Boston. During two of those years he was lucky
enough to have Celtics season tickets in the balcony in section 303! He has worked with tools such as VB.NET, C#, Visual FoxPro, HTML, SQL, CSS, PHP,
Javascript, CrystalReports and XML. Exciting!! Or maybe not...
In his spare time he plays competitive ultimate frisbee. He enjoys playing basketball and when he was younger he used to win foul
shooting contests. David's favorite sports teams, in addition to the Boston Celtics, are the New York Mets and Chicago Bears.
In 2009, David wrote a Boston Celtics trivia book, "Boston Celtics IQ: The Ultimate Test of True Fandom". It is filled with more
than 250 multiple choice questions that will challenge even the most hardcore Celtics fan.
